Moodie Outdoor Products is currently undertaking the upgrade of Caroline Chisholm Reserve at Winston Hills. The project involves the installation of two 3x3m Buller Skillion shelters. The shelters feature steel posts hot dip galvanised and powder coated. The roof members are timber and colourbond roofing panels provide protection from the elements.
Furniture throughout the park is from the Alley range and features dressed Roocycle seat slats. These seats will continue to look great year after year with zero maintenance required.
The final component of the reserve upgrade is the construction of a deck. The substructure of the deck is constructed entirely out of Roocycle ET. The decking boards are Roocycle Enviro. Roocycle is the perfect material for the construction of this deck as it is hard wearing, long lasting, requires zero maintenance and has the added benefit of being a sustainable construction solution. As Roocycle is non-permeable it can be installed directly into the ground without ever rotting away.
In all, approximately 4.5 tonnes of waste materials have been diverted from landfill!
