Moodie Outdoor Products has recently completed the installation of 3 Pedestrian Bridges that were required to link up concrete paths at Sanctuary Point, NSW in a severe coastal environment.
Lengths varied between 7 & 9m’s and were all 2.5m’s long with clear width of 2.2m’s between cycle rails. Due to being severe coastal selection of materials was crucial to provide a durable low maintenance solution. The bridges were constructed using the following:
- Beams – 475x225mm FRP single span beams
- Decking – FRP micro mesh 30mm
- Balustrade – Roocycle ET posts and top rail, PC aluminium pool fence style balustrade between posts.
