Moodie Outdoor Products has recently completed the installation of an inline cantilevered shelter at Curtin University. The all aluminium shelter measures an impressive 15m long and 3m wide. The modular design allowed for easy creation of the large shelter – 3 shelters @5x3m connected inline to create the 15x3m shelter.
Polycarbonate roof sheeting was installed to provide protection from the elements. The polycarbonate sheeting reduces the heat by 75%, UV rays by 99% and is 250 times stronger then glass.
The structural anodised aluminium engineered structure has been designed to withhold over 125 km winds and certified to Australian Standards.
Lighting and mains power has been integrated into the shelter.
Moodie Outdoor Products also supplied the stainless steel bike hoop racks for this project.
