Project Completion – Riesling Steel Truss Pedestrian Bridge

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed the installation of a Riesling Steel Truss Pedestrian Bridge for Parrammatta City Council.

The bridge has a clear span of 12m and is 1.5m wide. The bridge features handrails compliant to the standards relating to Cycleways.

Roocycle decking was utilised for its long lasting no maintenance qualities.

Concrete abutments were designed, engineered and installed to required height allowing for flood level events.

The bridge was delivered fully assembled on truck, craned into position and fixed off to abutments on same day. So impact on the community was minimal.

Project Completion – Roocycle Pedestrian Bridge

Moodie Outdoor Products has recently completed the installation of two small pedestrian bridges at a new development in Mooloolaba, QLD. The bridges each measure 4m x 1.2m. The bridges were constructed entirely from recycled plastic composite materials. The Roocycle material was selected for its durability and the fact that it requires zero ongoing maintenance.

Roocycle Pedestrian Bridge

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed the installation of a Roocycle Pedestrian Bridge. The bridge spans a small creek bed that is subject to flooding. As such, the whole structure has been engineer certified to cope with flood loading.

Roocycle is the perfect choice for such a project as the material does not absorb water and will never rot. This project consumed 4.8 tonnes of Roocycle material that would otherwise have been destined for landfill.

Cro$$ing the Creek

Project Completion: Pedestrian Bridge

Moodie Outdoor Products recently supplied a Pedestrian Bridge in kit form for a residential development. The Riesling Footbridge measures 27m long and 2.5m wide. The bridge features hot dipped galvanised (HDG) structural beams with HDG vertical infills and cycle rails. The bridge has been designed to comply with Australian Standards covering both a pedestrian footbridge and a cycle way bridge.

The bridge was also supplied with Roocycle EN 150x50mm WPC decking boards that are Brown in colour. Moodie Outdoor Products oversaw the construction of the bridge frame during the initial stages and the client then completed the installation and addition of the decking boards.

The end result is an engineer certified footbridge that will require minimal maintenance in the long run.
